Job summary

ADUSA is seeking a Manager of Pharmacy Procurement to oversee over $3B in annual drug purchases, own the relationship with the pharmacy wholesaler, and manage item selection, negotiation and supply chain for direct generic purchases.

The role supports recalls, DSCSA compliance, and store-level inventory systems, with a flexible hybrid schedule of 3 in-person days at core locations including Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA and Scarborough, ME.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive procurement/supply chain experience in healthcare/pharma.
• Experience negotiating contracts with manufacturers, wholesalers, or healthcare suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage pharmaceutical drug requirements to optimize cost of goods.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers to maximize savings and ensure supply continuity.
• Communicate with Retail Operations regarding product changes, recalls, and launches.
• Oversee pharmacy category management, vendor relationships, and inventory turns.
• Support DSCSA compliance and data transmission with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Legal on regulatory requirements.
