Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead pharmacy-related sourcing and category management. The role focuses on optimizing drug costs, supplier negotiations, and DSCSA compliance while coordinating with store operations and the QA team.

The position supports a hybrid work model with in-office and remote days at Carlisle, PA, and other core locations. Strong collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and Finance is essential to drive cost savings and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as specified in the Qualifications section.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, category management, or related healthcare field.
• Experience negotiating contracts, pricing, and programming terms with pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, or healthcare suppliers.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with operations, finance, compliance, legal, and vendor partners.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage pharmaceutical drug requirements to optimize cost of goods between direct and indirect sourcing.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and cost savings.
• Coordinate DSCPA data transmission and product traceability across TraceLink.
• Oversee store-level inventory management applications and provide best practice guidance.
