Job summary

Standard Process Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll for about 650 employees across 38 states, reporting to the FP&A Manager.

You will ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws while supporting FP&A tasks. You will collaborate with HR and finance to maintain accurate payroll data, process complex payments, and provide payroll data for forecasting, budgeting, and variance reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Payroll certification not required but a plus.
• 3–5 years of multi-state payroll processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly payroll processing for ~650 employees across 38 states.
• Ensure accurate time/attendance data and tax withholdings.
• Process reimbursements, garnishments, PTO, bonuses, and special payments.
• Collaborate with HR to reflect elections and changes in payroll.
• Prepare payroll-related reports for internal/external use.
• Lead payroll accounts in the general ledger and assist with FP&A tasks.
