Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience.
• Experience handling up to 3,500 employees.
• CPP certification is a plus.
• Strong Paycom proficiency is a plus.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for 1,500–3,500 employees, including commissions, bonuses, garnishments, 401(k) contributions.
• Ensure timely off-cycle payments and payroll adjustments.
• Prepare federal and state compliance reports (e.g., EEO-1).
• Assist audits with payroll and benefits documentation.
• Reconcile payroll accounts with the general ledger.
• Audit benefits data (HSA, FSA, 401(k)).
• Train employees on payroll systems and onboarding.
• Address payroll inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Paycom or other payroll providers for state withholding.
