Job summary

Corebridge Financial is seeking a Senior Network Design Engineer to architect and deliver enterprise-grade network solutions for a regulated financial-services setting. You will collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams to design resilient, scalable networks across data centers, cloud, and branch sites.

The role demands hands-on experience with SD‑WAN/SD‑LAN, data center fabrics, and vendor governance, along with strong Python-enabled automation and observability skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Network Engineering, or equivalent enterprise network experience.
• 10+ years of experience designing, engineering, deploying, or supporting enterprise network solutions.
• 5+ years as a senior network design engineer or equivalent senior role.
• Financial-services or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with SD‑WAN, SD‑LAN, data center fabrics, and modern networking platforms.
• Strong fundamentals in routing, switching, BGP, DDI, high availability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Assess requirements and identify practical network solutions with cost, risk, and lifecycle analyses.
• Develop design-to-deployment plans meeting scope, schedule, cost, and resiliency.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues with industry tools and telemetry.
• Create processes, diagrams, and documentation for design execution and operations.
