Job summary

Corebridge Financial is seeking a Senior Network Data Center Engineer in Houston, TX to lead data center modernization, cloud connectivity, routing, and switching initiatives. You will define architecture standards, reference designs, and governance to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available networks for a large financial services environment.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, cloud networking across Azure/AWS/GCP, and strong collaboration

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
15+ years of enterprise network engineering, architecture, and operational support.
5+ years as a senior data center network architect, design engineer, or solution architect.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior technical architect for data center, cloud networking, routing, switching, and modernization initiatives.
Develop and govern network architecture standards, reference designs, roadmaps and diagrams.
Lead architecture reviews across data center fabrics, hybrid cloud connectivity, DDI, segmentation, security integration, observability, and automation.
Partner with application, cloud, security, risk, audit, and operations teams to ensure designs meet availability, resiliency, and compliance.
Lead automation and AI-enabled operations improvements, including scripting and workflow automation.
