Job summary

Orion Advisor Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our corporate networks across LAN/WAN/SD-WAN. You will ensure security and ISMS alignment, while mentoring network staff and coordinating with service providers.

The role requires 7+ years in network engineering, hands-on Palo Alto experience, and strong routing/switching expertise. Hybrid work with on-site days at Office locations and ongoing security training.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Network Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of direct network engineering and firewall experience preferred.
• CCNA/CCNP/PCNSA/PCNSE certifications preferred.
• Palo Alto firewalls hands-on experience preferred.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, and VRRP; strong routing and switching skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and maintain the corporate network LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN systems.
• Plan, evaluate, and execute on-prem and AWS/Azure networking.
• Maintain and troubleshoot company firewalls and public internet connections.
• Oversee cabling, network cabinets, and patch panel management at all locations.
• Participate in DR testing and monitor network health with SolarWinds.
• Operate DNS/DHCP/IPAM with Infoblox and manage 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Lead the network team and mentor junior engineers.
