Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Mechanical Components to support the transfer of sheet metal parts to suppliers. You will lead DFM/APQP reviews, drive QML maturation from prototype to production, and manage supplier tooling and processes for cost-effective manufacturing.

The role is hybrid and onsite in Berkeley, CA or Somerville, MA with relocation and travel as needed. Required are 5+ years in sheet metal design, CAD skills (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and strong

Qualifications

5+ years in sheet metal design and manufacturing.
Proficient with CAD tools and GD&T principles.
Experience with stamping, bending, welding, laser cutting.
Ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for cost and manufacturability.
Lead DFM and APQP reviews with suppliers before design freeze.
Own QML roadmap from prototype to SOP and PPAP.
Identify and mitigate schedule risks and develop mitigation plans.
Drive supplier SCARs, RCA, and verify long-term effectiveness.
