Form Energy in Berkeley/Somerville is seeking a Senior Supplier Engineer, Structural Components to drive industrialization of heavy-gauge welded assemblies and supplier collaboration. You will shape pack-level designs, review DFM, and ensure robust welding and QC programs in a fast-growing team.

You bring 5+ years of supplier quality or manufacturing engineering experience, a relevant engineering degree, and a proven ability to lead on-site audits, manage schedules, and advance PPAP/WPS programs

• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, industrialization, or manufacturing engineering focusing on heavy-gauge structural steel.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with Design and Advanced Manufacturing teams to co-develop pack-level structural designs optimizing for integrity and modularity.
• Lead Design for Manufacturing reviews with structural suppliers, focusing on welding feasibility and large-scale tolerances.
• Own the Quality Maturation Level (QML) and PPAP roadmap, qualifying welding procedures and welder qualifications (WPS/PQR).
• Partner with suppliers to establish weld verification programs, defining weld characterization and NDT requirements.
