Job summary
CS Recruiting is seeking a Sr Manager of Brokerage Operations in Warrenville, IL. Hybrid, full-time leadership role overseeing Truckload, LTL, International, and Expedited services. Qualifications
- 10+ years in transportation, freight brokerage, or 3PL.
- 5+ years leading multifunctional operations teams.
- Experience with FTL/LTL, international freight, and intermodal.
- Ability to drive improvements and measurable results.
- Experience partnering with IT to improve workflows.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple transportation operations departments (FTL, LTL, International, Expedited).
- Develop and coach department managers; raise accountability and collaboration.
- Assess workflows and bottlenecks; implement improvements for efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT to enhance TMS, automate processes, and enable analytics.
- Monitor KPIs, margins, cost-to-serve, and risk-related processes.
- Maintain relationships with carriers, agents, and partners.
- Support cross-functional problem-solving and customer alignment.
