Job summary

Via Licensing Alliance, a Dolby Laboratories subsidiary, seeks a Senior Manager of Financial & Strategic Planning in the San Francisco area. This hybrid role requires in-office presence three days per week (Tue–Thu) and partners across Finance, Licensing, Business Development, and Legal to translate market and licensing data into actionable insights.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in FP&A, licensing economics, and strong modeling skills, with MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, or licensing economics.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and long-range planning experience.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear executive recommendations.
• Experience supporting annual planning, KPI reporting, and cross-functional processes.
• Familiarity with licensing, IP, tech, or data-intensive environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for licensing programs and forecasts.
• Lead annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning.
• Build market-sizing and revenue models with key commercial assumptions.
• Conduct scenario and risk analyses for new program development and negotiations.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and recommendations for leadership.
