Job summary

Great American Custom is seeking a detail-oriented insurance operations professional for our Downtown Los Angeles office. The role focuses on examining and processing policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, with strong data entry and billing responsibilities.

Candidates should have at least six years in insurance operations or customer service, with knowledge of Excess and Primary lines. A Property/Casualty license is preferred, and on-site presence is required four days weekly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in insurance operations or customer service.
• Knowledge of Excess and Primary lines of business.
• Licensing in Property/Casualty preferred.
• On-site at Downtown Los Angeles four days a week.

Responsibilities

• Examine and process new policies, complex renewals, endorsements, and cancellations using various systems.
• Enter or load data into systems and resolve data errors.
• Generate and distribute policy documents, certificates of insurance, and related materials.
• Organize, prepare, and update reports; monitor and adjust billing status as needed.
• Identify opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
