Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• 10+ years in insurance operations or customer service.
• Professional designation such as Property/Casualty license preferred.
• Expert knowledge of insurance policies across local, state, and federal levels.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to guide others.

Responsibilities

• Exams and processes complex new policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Loads data into systems and resolves data discrepancies for accuracy.
• Generates and distributes policy documents and certificates of insurance.
• Prepares reports and manages billing status and inquiries.
• Identifies opportunities to improve procedures and reduce costs.
• May coach staff and participate in talent decisions for direct reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
