Job summary

Great American Custom in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Reinsurance Analyst to support treaty and facultative processes, compile data, and coordinate schedules. You will collaborate with underwriting, claims, operations and finance to ensure alignment of reinsurance activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail with sound decision making and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to build trusting working relationships while delivering high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling and organizing data, reports, and documentation to support treaty and facultative reinsurance processes.
• Research and resolve basic reinsurance-related inquiries by actively seeking out information and collaborating with team members. Escalate complex issues to senior reinsurance staff
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including underwriting, claims, operations and finance to help ensure alignment of reinsurance processes and departmental objectives.
• Assist in communication and coordination of reinsurance schedules and meetings.
• Adhere to established reinsurance guidelines, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance consistency.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
