Job summary

Marsh is seeking an experienced Health Actuary Leader to join our Actuarial and Financial Consulting team in the US. This hybrid role requires in-office work at least three days per week.

As a Sr. Principal Lead Health Actuary Consultant, you will manage client projects on employers’ health benefits strategies, including financial projections, plan design optimization, renewal negotiations, IBNP valuations, and mentoring analysts, while presenting deliverables to clients with senior team members.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics or related field.
• 15+ years in an actuarial field; consulting experience preferred.
• ASA or FSA credential.
• Strong analytical skills with MS Office expertise.
• Proven project management and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine client engagements, including service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations and renewal activities.
• Review analyses conducted by junior staff to ensure actuarial soundness.
• Embrace AI and technology-enabled tools in work processes.
• Perform and review complex analyses and cost projections using Excel and SAS.
• Draft and review client reports or presentations with recommendations.
