Marsh is seeking a Sr. Principal Lead Health Actuary Consultant to join our Actuarial and Financial Consulting team in the US.

This hybrid role requires in-office work at least three days per week and leads health benefits projects, including financial projections, plan design optimization and renewal negotiations. Ideal candidates possess a BA/BS in actuarial science or related field, 15+ years actuarial experience, ASA/FSA credentials, and strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in actuarial science or related field required.
• 15+ years in an actuarial role, consulting experience preferred.
• ASA or FSA credentials required or in process.
• Strong analytical, leadership and client presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine client engagements, overseeing service delivery, strategy and renewals for health and welfare programs.
• Review analyses performed by junior staff to ensure actuarial soundness and model integrity.
• Embrace AI and technology-enabled tools to enhance analyses and outputs.
• Perform and review cost projections using Excel, SAS and related pricing models.
• Draft and review client reports/presentations to convey findings and recommendations.
