Job summary

Marsh in the United States seeks an experienced Health Actuary Leader to join our Actuarial and Financial Consulting team in the People and Investment business. This hybrid role requires working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Sr. Principal Lead Health Actuary Consultant, you will manage client projects focused on employers' health benefits strategies, including financial projections, plan design optimization and renewal negotiations, while guiding analysts and presenting results

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics or related field required.
15+ years' experience in actuarial field, consulting preferred.
ASA/FSA credential required.
Strong analytical skills and MS Office proficiency.
Proven project management and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

Lead routine client engagements, including service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, renewals and benchmarking.
Review analyses by junior staff to ensure actuarial soundness and correct use of models.
Thrive in an AI-enabled tools environment and data-driven approaches.
Perform and review complex cost projections using Excel, SAS and related tools.
Draft and review client reports and present findings with senior client teams.
