Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Sr. Principal Lead Health Actuary Consultant to join our Actuarial and Financial Consulting team in the United States.

This hybrid role requires working in-office at least three days per week and leads client engagements on health benefits strategies, financial projections, plan design and renewal negotiations. You will direct analysts, craft deliverables, and present findings to clients, collaborating with senior client teams while leveraging AI tools and advanced modeling.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics or related field
• 15+ years' experience in an actuarial field, consulting experience preferred
• ASA/FSA credential
• Strong analytical skills and MS Office proficiency
• Proven project management skills and ability to work in teams under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead routine client engagements, managing service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewal, benchmarking and other health and welfare cost projections
• Review analyses performed by junior staff to ensure actuarial soundness and model accuracy
• Leverage AI and technology-enabled tools to enhance analyses and deliverables
• Draft and review client reports and presentations to summarize findings and propose recommended strategies
