DeepL is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Manager to lead and scale our communications in the US, coordinating with global teams and reporting to our Marketing organization. The role focuses on building a strong brand presence, developing compelling storytelling, and maintaining trusted media relationships across the US market.

You will collaborate with Leadership, Marketing, Product, and Legal to craft strategic messaging, manage executive communications, and oversee agency

Qualifications

• 7+ years in corporate communications, PR, or related field, ideally with experience in a global technology or B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven media relations skills with a track record of coverage in top-tier business and technology publications.
• Strategic thinking to develop long-term communications strategies while managing day-to-day execution.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills for clear, compelling narratives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global communications strategy across the organization.
• Drive media relations excellence across global markets.
• Lead executive communications and messaging with senior leaders.
• Own crisis and issues management with clear protocols.
• Manage external PR agencies and partner relationships.
• Create press releases, media briefs, speeches and bylines.
• Measure KPIs and report impact to stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Legal and People teams.
