Job summary

A leading professional networking platform in Mountain View, CA seeks a Senior Employee Communications Manager to partner with engineering leadership, developing and executing employee communications strategies that inform, engage, and inspire our global workforce.

The role requires 6+ years in employee communications, strong writing skills, and the ability to lead change communications. Hybrid onsite work is required, with a focus on leveraging AI in the communications workflow.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Employee Communications.
• Experience advising VP-level executives on communications strategy.
• Familiarity with AI in communications workflows.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic communications advisor to VP-level executives within the engineering team and other key partners, advising on communications strategy including content, forums, and timing.
• Use AI as an integrated part of the communications workflow, including research, synthesis, strategic planning, audience insights, content development, and rapid iteration.
• Build and execute global communications strategies for major moments that inform and inspire the global employee base.
• Lead end-to-end employee communications for organizational changes, partnering with HR and leadership to clarify strategy and rationale, and managing timing, sequencing, and delivery across channels.
• Build communications plans that amplify talent initiatives and reinforce culture and values; develop and maintain digital communications channels, and provide onsite event production support for all-hands meetings and other employee events.
