Job summary

Synthomer is seeking an experienced communications manager to lead internal and external communications that connect people, amplify priorities and strengthen our brand. The role focuses on internal comms to keep employees informed and aligned with strategy, while also supporting external thought leadership and employer branding.

You will collaborate with US and global leaders, transform complex technical information into clear messaging, and deliver strategic plans as well as hands-on

Qualifications

• Proven corporate communications experience within a FTSE 250 or similarly complex global organisation.
• Strong track record delivering integrated communications campaigns across internal and external channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver integrated communication plans that support business priorities and employee engagement.
• Create engaging content across internal and external channels including Viva Engage, SharePoint, leadership communications, town halls and the corporate website.
• Manage and optimise internal communications platforms including Viva Engage and SharePoint.
• Partner with US and global leaders to communicate complex initiatives in a clear, engaging and accessible way.
• Support leadership communications in the US, including messaging, presentations and key announcements.
• Drive adoption of communication best practices across the organisation.
• Develop content for external platforms including LinkedIn to strengthen employer brand.
• Create thought leadership, case studies and corporate communications materials.
• Support external campaigns, events and industry communications activities.
• Ensure messaging consistency and brand tone across communications.
• Measure outcomes using data and audience feedback to drive continuous improvement.
