Job summary

MetroPlusHealth in New York is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting & Accounting Manager to oversee cash management, month-end close, and external audits. You will coordinate with operations, IT, and treasury to ensure accurate financial statements.

The role requires at least 8 years of related experience, proficiency with PeopleSoft GL, Excel and Word, and CPA/CMA is a plus. Hybrid work arrangement and collaboration with NYC H+H audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years in a related industry.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft General Ledger System, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly analysis of claims payment activity and develop reports.
• Manage treasury activities: cash position, cash flow projections, and account transfers.
• Monitor bank balances, check runs, and reconcile monthly bank statements.
• Review and approve bank reconciliations and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with NYC H+H and MetroPlusHealth audits and annual fiscal reports.
• Prepare quarterly MMCOR schedules and Medicaid related analyses.
• Collaborate with Claims and Analytics for supporting documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
