Job summary

MetroPlusHealth seeks a Senior Financial Reporting & Accounting Manager to oversee cash management and accounting activities, ensuring accurate month-end closings and bank reconciliations. The role interfaces with external auditors and supports annual calendar year and fiscal year audits.

You will manage treasury activities, prepare cash projections, monitor investments, and lead reconciliations across multiple bank accounts and general ledgers, collaborating with Operations, IT, and Analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a related industry.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft General Ledger System, Microsoft Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash and treasury activities, including bank reconciliations and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate and respond to audit questions and deliverables for state and city audits.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and general ledger analyses.
• Assist with external audits for MetroPlusHealth and NYC H+H and support Model Audit Rule and Federal Single Audit.
• Prepare quarterly fiscal reports and annual Census Surveys for reporting entities.
• Monitor and analyze claims payment activity and assist in month-end close processes.
