Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Headquarters in New York seeks a Senior Manager, Consolidated Reporting to lead the financial planning process and ensure cohesive, timely information for strategic decisions.

You will maintain the Hyperion budgeting system, coordinate with Finance, Treasury, and Comptroller to ensure accurate flows of funds, and deliver consolidated results to executive leadership with strong analytical insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in Hyperion budgeting and planning, with a track record of accurate forecasting.
• 7+ years of progressive financial experience in large government or corporate entities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with senior management.
• Knowledge of MTA financial structure and operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate development of the annual and quarterly financial plans.
• Oversee consolidated revenue, expense, subsidy, and budget schedules.
• Coordinate data collection with Finance, Treasury, and Comptroller functions.
• Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of consolidated results with agency submissions.
• Prepare monthly Financial Performance Reports for the Finance Committee.
• Oversee statements of operations and timely reporting.
• Lead analysis of variances versus Budget Plan and present insights.
• Manage cash flow analyses and forecasting 12 times per year.
• Direct Open Data reporting 12–15 times per year to ensure data integrity.
• Support City operating reports and invoicing processes with accuracy.
• Drive continuing disclosure reporting related to bond offerings.
• Monitor savings initiatives and progress toward targets.
• Update 25‑year financial projections for regional planning.
