Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr. Manager, Finance Apps (O2C) to lead enterprise finance applications and guide the Order-to-Cash lifecycle.

You will partner across Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Technology to translate business needs into scalable, compliant solutions and manage a team in a hybrid environment. The role requires a strong background in ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle) and a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives while maintaining controls and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
• MBA, master's degree, or another relevant advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in finance systems, enterprise applications, or IT supporting finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy and application roadmap for enterprise finance solutions supporting O2C processes.
• Lead the delivery, enhancement, integration, and ongoing support of applications supporting order management, billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, and revenue processes.
• Partner with Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions.
• Establish priorities and manage the portfolio and delivery backlog, balancing business value, regulatory requirements, technical dependencies, resource capacity, and stakeholder needs.
• Ensure financial applications and transaction-processing solutions comply with applicable internal controls, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, application performance, data quality, reporting, and user experience.
• Lead cross-functional implementation and transformation initiatives, including ERP modernization, process standardization, and system harmonization.
• Liaises with engineering and design teams to collect feedback on the organization('s) existing products, and translates feedback to stakeholders in familiar terms.
• Advises on best methods to address bottlenecks, provides escalation management, and builds consensus by understanding stakeholder requirements and constraints.
• Manage external vendors and system integrators, including delivery commitments, service levels, performance measures, and issue resolution.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and individual contributors in a matrixed environment through clear objectives, ongoing performance management, and meaningful career-development conversations.
• Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.
