Qualifications

• 10+ years in property and casualty claims, including general liability or property claims litigation.
• Prior experience with construction defect claims is required.
• Professional designation (AIC or CPCU) preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of claims with significant size and complexity, including construction defect and property claims.
• Conducts thorough investigations, assesses coverage and liability, and develops strategy for claim resolution.
• Participates in arbitrations, mediations, settlements, or trials as needed.
• Negotiates settlements within authority and escalates cases beyond authority to supervisors.
• Communicates complex information to stakeholders while maintaining professionalism.
• Ensures compliance with statutes, regulations, and company procedures.
