Job summary

Transamerica Corporation in Cedar Rapids, IA; Denver, CO; Philadelphia, PA seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to facilitate the analysis process and align IT solutions with business goals in a hybrid environment.

You will lead requirements elicitation, document current state processes, and create BPM artifacts, collaborating with IT and Operations to deliver changes and support testing and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis.
• 2-4 years of industry experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of insurance company operations.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Experience with Salesforce administration and declarative tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business process analysis and needs assessments to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
• Prepare as-is and current state documentation in written and graphical form (flows).
• Use BPM techniques and tools to create business process models.
• Lead efforts to develop new or revised processes or procedures in lieu of system development.
• Facilitate elicitation of business and systems requirements.
• Analyze requests and communicate business and system impacts to IT and Operations staff.
