Trident Solutions in Plano, TX is seeking an Experienced Business Analyst to bridge business teams and technology. You will work with sales, customer service, operations, and finance to define how work should function and drive the requirements, configuration, testing, and adoption across Salesforce and ERP systems.

The role entails hands-on work in CRM, ERP, warehouse/shipping systems, and reporting with ownership from day one on a small IT team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, business systems analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise applications.
• Hands‑on Salesforce experience — core platform concepts, requirements gathering and testing within Salesforce.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, and process documentation.
• Experience planning and executing user acceptance testing and supporting end users through go-live.
• Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of staff and executives.
• Self‑directed and organized; able to manage multiple initiatives on a lean team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements, user stories, and functional specs.
• Serve as the Salesforce Service Cloud owner, gathering requirements, designing flows, objects, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and coordinating deployment.
• Map current-state processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements involving systems automation and data enhancements.
• Write test plans and acceptance criteria, coordinate UAT with business users, ensure readiness before go-live.
• Create training materials and lead end-user training to drive adoption.
• Support cross-platform projects across ERP (Infor VISUAL), EDI, warehouse/shipping, and reporting with rigorous requirements and testing.
