1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. in Jericho, NY seeks an experienced Corporate, SEC & Governance Paralegal to join the Legal team. This highly visible role reports to the General Counsel and supports SEC reporting, governance, board administration, and franchise documentation.

The ideal candidate has strong SEC filing and public company experience, is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with confidential matters. Hybrid on-site and remote work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
• 5+ years of paralegal or corporate legal experience, preferably with a publicly traded company or law firm supporting public company clients.
• Hands-on experience with SEC filings, EDGAR, Section 16 reporting, and public company compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with SEC filings and public company compliance including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and other filing materials.
• Support Section 16 reporting (Forms 3, 4, 5) and EDGAR filing processes.
• Maintain SEC calendars and ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, IR, executives, and outside counsel on filings.
• Maintain corporate records, governance calendars, and related documents.
• Assist with Board and committee materials, onboarding, and governance disclosures.
