Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a SCADA & Automation Engineer to design, implement, and validate SCADA and communications systems for utility, industrial, and renewable clients. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two remote, plus potential relocation support.

Required: a bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, or computer systems engineering; 3 years’ experience in substation SCADA design; familiarity with SEL, Novatech, and GE RTUs; knowledge of DNP,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, or computer systems engineering.
• 3 years of experience in design, configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting of substation SCADA and communication systems.
• Experience with SEL, Novatech, & GE RTUs and software.

Responsibilities

• Engage in client projects to plan, engineer, & design SCADA and communications systems.
• Develop PCBs, network diagrams, SCADA schematics, and HMI configurations.
• Coordinate with relay settings engineers for protection relays and IEDs.
