Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking a Sales Representative (Hybrid) to engage with existing and prospective customers, promote products, and generate sales revenue in a defined territory.

The role offers uncapped commissions and a first-year compensation range of $55,000-$95,000, plus medical, dental, life, disability insurance, a 401k plan, and a deferred compensation plan. Travel within the territory is required for meetings and customer visits.

Qualifications

• The ability to move to and from potential or actual customer and associates' locations and company meetings at locations within the assigned geographic area of responsibility while holding the required insurance coverage minimums
• Use of personal electronic device that is in compliance with the company's Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) policy
• The execution of an Employment Agreement and/or revised Employment Agreement exhibit(s), all of which were provided to the associate for review prior to execution

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with customers in the territory to understand business needs and identify opportunities.
• Effectively cold call on potential customers to grow the book of business.
• Plan week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Demonstrate products to show value and quality; highlight American-made products.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas by following the company's sales programs and training.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities and report back to customers on cost-savings.
