metroConnections, Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager – Conferences and Meetings to drive new business growth through a relationship-based approach. You will manage a portfolio, coordinate with operations, and craft proposals to close opportunities, with a focus on hitting an annual sales quota.

The role offers a full-time, base salary plus commission, with bonus eligibility, hybrid work, travel up to 20%, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver client programs.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in conferences, meetings, events, production, or hospitality industries.
• Experience in Sales with a proven sales record.
• Ability to find new business and/or bring business to the company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Dynamics.

Responsabilidades

• Sell and contract new or repeat opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota.
• Generate leads through networking, cold calling, presentations, and demos.
• Understand and stay current on pricing and service offerings to market services.
• Establish relationships with new prospects to identify opportunities.
• Grow existing accounts and identify new opportunities through regular contact.
