Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and strict budgets.
• Experience in planning and coordinating meetings/events.
• Familiarity with meeting registration tools and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of company meetings and events for the US domestic entities.
• Plan site selection and negotiate contract terms for hotels, F&B and transport.
• Negotiate contracts for all meeting components.
• Determine meeting specifications and evaluate venues.
• Assist internal clients with budget and cost analysis.
• Book and oversee meetings from small trainings to large conferences.
• Provide on-site coverage when required.
• Conduct site visits to ensure venues meet conference needs and standards.
• Attend industry events and association meetings to stay current.
• Provide feedback to Manager on department needs and initiatives.
• Assist with workflow improvements and evaluate planning software.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
