Job summary

The Portland Clinic is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle to lead the Revenue Cycle Office, driving operational excellence across registration, coding, billing, referrals, and patient collections. This role collaborates with CFO and executive leadership to optimize processes and patient experience.

The position requires 7+ years in Revenue Cycle, 2+ years in coding, and 3+ years of supervisory experience, with Epic familiarity preferred. On-site in Portland, OR with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• 7 years of Revenue Cycle experience
• 2 years of coding experience (credentialing required)
• 3 years of supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of full revenue cycle office.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate the management of employee issues for Revenue Cycle staff, including employment, training, evaluation, and scheduling.
• Maintain and provide all staff in the Revenue Cycle organization with proper educational and development opportunities.
• Oversee all departments in the Revenue Cycle organization, including Registration and Scheduling, Referrals and Prior Authorizations, Coding, Insurance and Billing, and Patient Collections/Refunds.
• Create and maintain data and metrics to measure and track performance of Revenue Cycle operations.
• Share performance of Revenue Cycle operations with Executive Leadership and Boards/Committees.
