Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Certified Coder II or III for the Central Admin in NE Portland. This hybrid/remote role reports to the Central Administration office and supports multispecialty departments with accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding.

Ideal candidates have four or more years of multispecialty coding experience, a current AAPC certification, and EPIC EMR familiarity. Excellent communication and compliance with billing standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of coding experience in multispecialty healthcare.
• Certified coder with AAPC or equivalent credential.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure codes comply with industry standards and regulations; maximize reimbursements within legal/ethical guidelines.
• Assigns CPT, ICD-10 and modifiers to physician services for accurate billing.
• Meet productivity benchmarks with a minimum of 95% coding accuracy.
• Review coding and provide corrections to requests.
