Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to manage record‑keeping for Defined Contribution Retirement Plans. The role is primarily in‑office with the possibility of working remotely one day per week after training, offering opportunities to lead audits and improve processes.

You will handle document validation, queue oversight, and cross‑department coordination while meeting tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and the Office suite.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; extremely detail‑oriented.
• Ability to show initiative while meeting multiple competing deadlines and to multi‑task in a high‑pressure setting.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with various departments.
• Creative, continuous improvement mindset and the ability to interpret client and participant needs.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to coordinate team activities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage volumes of incoming checks and documents, validate documents, and complete other requests from internal partners.
• Provide queue oversight, research, and respond to internal partner requests.
• Maintain quality control, document procedures, and create process improvements.
• Perform audit fulfillment to meet key deliverables while exceeding client and participant expectations.
• Coordinate activities across team members and manage multiple competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
