Job summary

Charles Schwab's Schwab Retirement Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner with deep domain expertise in retirement recordkeeping systems and defined contribution plan administration.

This role will apply hands-on knowledge of retirement plan operations, participant transactions, and recordkeeping workflows to shape and deliver digital experiences for retirement plan participants, sponsors, and advisors.

Qualifications

7+ years in Product Owner/Management or Agile delivery with retirement recordkeeping domain
Experience prioritizing backlogs in Agile environments with retirement dependencies
Strong ability to translate plan rules and data into testable requirements
Experience delivering participant-facing retirement web or mobile apps
Balance strategic roadmap with day-to-day execution

Responsibilities

Own and prioritize the Agile backlog for retirement participant experiences
Translate plan provisions and business rules into user stories and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with engineers, UX, architecture, and QA to deliver web/mobile experiences
Lead participant web experiences, dashboards, and mobile app enhancements
Identify pain points across enrollment, contributions, elections, loans, distributions
Collaborate with clients, operations, compliance, and vendors to refine requirements
Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning for predictable delivery
Monitor product performance and servicing issues to drive improvements
