Job summary

TIAA in Philadelphia is seeking a Financial Consultant to provide in-person and virtual counseling to participants, new entrants, prospects, beneficiaries and their representatives on retirement and investment options.

You will deliver financial planning guidance, support 3+ years experience, obtain FINRA Series 7/63 and Life & Health licenses within 120 days, and work across regions with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience; 5+ years preferred.
• FINRA registrations Series 7 and 63 required.
• Life and Health Insurance License required within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels participants on pension plans and investments to help grow assets.
• Educates and facilitates product purchases (mutual funds, annuities, IRAs, 529/403b, bank products, life insurance).
• Interacts with retirement plan participants to provide exceptional service and process requests.
• Uses tax and investment strategies to tailor advice to clients' needs.
• Collaborates with internal teams to support products and initiatives.
• Builds relationships with Institutional Plan Sponsors.
