Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a SCADA Project Engineer in Renewable Generation Engineering to support our growing portfolio of utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and fuel cell assets. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of control systems across Ameren renewable assets.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required; EIT preferred.
• 3–5 years of SCADA engineering experience preferred.
• PV solar and/or BESS design and control systems a plus.
• Understanding of SCADA systems and plant-level monitoring/control architectures.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850) and networking (Ethernet/TCP/IP) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing large renewable/inverter projects from development through operation.
• Perform design reviews of electrical and SCADA systems.
• Collaborate with project management to track design and construction schedules.
• Support on-site installation and commissioning of site SCADA system and network.
• Review results for accuracy and compliance.
• Support Renewable Operations with technical expertise.
• Develop engineering specifications for renewable technologies and revise for project needs.
