Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a SCADA Project Engineer to design, implement, and optimize control systems across a growing solar, wind, BESS, and fuel cell portfolio. You will contribute to grid reliability and automation across Ameren's generation assets.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 3–5 years of SCADA experience, and familiarity with PV/BESS control systems and industry protocols. Hybrid work and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Engineering required.
• EIT is preferred.
• Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of SCADA/engineering experience preferred.
• Renewable energy industry experience preferred.
• Familiar with Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850 protocols.
• Experience with PV solar and/or BESS control systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute large renewable and inverter-based projects from development to operation.
• Review electrical and SCADA designs and plant layouts.
• Coordinate schedules with internal stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Support on-site installation and testing of SCADA systems.
• Ensure results meet accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical expertise to Renewable Operations.
