Job summary

The role serves as the technical lead on project teams from development through operation.

You will review interconnection studies, energy production estimates, and design documents, develop scopes of work, coordinate with vendors and other engineers, and travel to active construction

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Five+ years of experience in large-scale power generation, distribution, or related construction projects.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently or in teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering for renewable and inverter-based generation and storage projects.
• Review interconnection applications, energy production estimates, submittals, RFIs, and testing reports.
• Develop scopes of work and specifications for design, installation and testing of renewable and inverter-based projects.
• Lead due diligence, technology evaluation, risk identification, design review and procurement support.
• Coordinate with engineering firms and contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Travel to active construction sites and support operations during construction and commissioning.
