Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years in Claims/Insurance or
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 2+ years in Claims/Insurance
• High School Diploma with 4+ years in Claims/Insurance
• Zurich Claims Training Program completion with 2+ years in Claims/Insurance
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
• Microsoft Office experience
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products

Responsibilities

• Document claims file by accurately capturing data per best practices.
• Determine liability by gathering facts and applying applicable law.
• Verify coverage and determine if loss falls within policy.
• Develop case strategy and pursue timely resolutions.
• Establish reserves within authority and review claims throughout cycle.
• Assess damages and negotiate settlements within limits.
• Meet quality standards by following best practices
