Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years in Claims or Insurance; or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree and 2+ years; or HS diploma with 4+ years; or completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Document claims file by updating data per best practices for commercial line claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity.
• Assess liability by gathering facts and applying applicable law.
• Verify coverage by analyzing policy terms to determine coverage applicability.
• Develop case strategy and evaluation to resolve claims timely.
• Establish reserves within authority limits and review throughout claims cycle.
• Assess damages and determine monetary values allowed by law.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits using available tools.
