Job summary

Unconventional AI is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join the Talent team. You will partner directly with our founders and engineering leaders to design sourcing strategies, attract world-class talent, and close exceptional candidates across deep-tech domains.

You will map new talent pools in hardware, AI research, and neuroscience, acting as a strategic advisor while building the recruiting engine from the ground up.

Qualifications

5+ years of technical recruiting experience.
Track record sourcing and closing exceptional talent in complex technical domains.
Deep technical curiosity about novel computing architectures.
Strategic advisory skills guiding senior stakeholders.
Builder’s mindset in fast-paced startup environments.
Exceptional communication to articulate a technical mission.

Responsibilities

Own full-cycle recruiting for highly specialized technical roles from scoping to closing.
Partner with leadership to define role requirements and talent plans.
Build pipelines with proactive sourcing in niche markets.
Elevate candidate experience with high-touch interactions.
Architect recruiting operations and refine ATS workflows.
Evangelize the mission within academic and deep-tech communities.
