Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. seeks a Relationship Banking Representative to deliver a welcoming, personalized banking experience in-branch.

You will handle transactions, open/close accounts, and guide customers through digital tools, while building trust and cross-selling with a consultative approach. You will educate customers on services, coordinate with internal partners to resolve issues, and participate in branch and community activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Interior product knowledge, teller and platform training preferred.
• Ability to attend a 5–7 day initial training program with travel and lodging covered.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience in-branch.
• Open and close accounts, process transactions, and assist with transfers.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and services.
• Coordinate with partners to resolve issues and support customers.
• Manage customer flow and assist with appointments and service requests.
• Support branch goals through relationship-building and team collaboration.
