Safety National, a leading specialty insurance and reinsurance provider, seeks a Manager, Reinsurance to maintain financial integrity of our programs and lead a skilled team in a hybrid role based out of Missouri. You will manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and settlements while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel/Outlook, with a hybrid schedule in Saint Louis.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and financial review skills; identify discrepancies.
• Strong reconciliation and documentation; accuracy.
• Ability to interpret, analyze bank statements.
• Organizational skills; detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Hybrid work: minimum 3 days/week in St. Louis MO.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee financial accounting for assigned reinsurance programs (assumed, ceded, retroactive, fronted).
• Serve as primary contact for a designated area of reinsurance; ensure accurate transactions and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members; provide feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Review data related to commissions, income, and loss activity; handle journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly reinsurance settlement statements; support quarterly/annual reporting.
