Job summary

LHH in Columbia, MD is seeking a Recruiter for a 6-month contract with potential conversion to full-time. Hybrid work: 3 days remote / 2 onsite.

Responsibilities include managing full-cycle recruiting, partnering with hiring managers, sourcing candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, screening, coordinating interviews, building pipelines, presenting candidates, negotiating offers, and maintaining the ATS to ensure a strong candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or related experience.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with hiring managers and team members.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Present qualified candidates and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
• Negotiate offers and support candidates throughout the onboarding process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through hire.
