Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, information systems, engineering, finance or accounting.
• Proficiency with Python for data manipulation, scripting, and workflow automation is required.
• Proficiency with SQL, including writing queries and joins to extract and analyze data across datasets.
• Experience with investment operations, reconciliation, or related financial operations is a plus.
• Exposure to AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or workflow automation platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile Dodge & Cox’s internal investment accounting records to custodian banks using Electra Reconciliation and own exceptions end-to-end.
• Support core Portfolio Operations functions including corporate actions, pricing oversight, and broker oversight.
• Prepare monthly client reports and provide backup/surge coverage during peak workloads.
• Analyze workflows to identify automation and AI-enabled efficiency and risk reduction opportunities.
• Design, build, and maintain AI-assisted workflows and establish validation and monitoring processes.
