Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Supervisor, Quality - Operations to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Quality Specialists and ensure the effective execution of quality processes and procedures.

You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to maintain accreditation readiness, drive continuous quality improvement, and develop the skills of the quality team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a healthcare quality role, including audits and accreditation support.
• Ability to lead or mentor others with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Self-directed with ability to work independently.
• Strong knowledge of quality improvement and performance management concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors a team of Quality Specialists, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audits.
• Assigns and prioritizes work, monitors progress, and provides feedback to team members.
• First point of escalation for audit-related questions and issues.
• Collaborates with Manager, Quality–Operations to implement quality initiatives.
• Ensures adherence to accreditation standards and internal policies across quality activities.
• Analyzes audit data to identify opportunities for process and training improvements.
• Leads quality improvement projects and supports larger initiatives for the Quality team.
• Promotes best practices and consistency in audit methodology across the team.
• Oversees deviations and CAPAs including review, approval, and effectiveness checks.
• Assists in preparation for internal and external audits as needed.
• Prepares and presents team performance metrics to stakeholders.
