Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking a Proposal Specialist / Marketing Specialist to own transportation and infrastructure pursuits from kickoff through shortlist interview.

This hybrid role will base out of Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio or West Virginia offices and collaborate with engineers and leaders to craft persuasive narratives that win state DOTs, counties, and municipalities. You will manage end-to-end pursuit strategy, write and edit proposals, ensure strict compliance, and develop materials for

Qualifications

• 5+ years in proposal coordination, proposal management, or AEC marketing.
• Proven track record managing proposals to hard deadlines with multiple contributors.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Adobe InDesign and Creative Suite proficiency.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook proficiency.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pursuit strategy, schedule, and narrative development.
• Ensure RFP compliance and fill all requirements before submission.
• Draft and edit executive summaries, project descriptions, and staff resumes.
• Develop presentation materials for shortlist interviews and coordinate rehearsals.
• Maintain accurate data in Deltek Vantagepoint and reuse content efficiently.
• Create and manage marketing collateral such as briefs and project profiles.
